Barefoot Resort Golf Club
The Barefoot Resort Golf Club of Myrtle Beach offers golfers four first-class course layouts for their Myrtle Beach golf vacation. Two of these golf courses - Love and Fazio - were recently named to the Golf Digest top 100 courses of 2005-2006.
The Greg Norman design is a Par 72 golf course with 7,200 yards of challenging golf. This Myrtle Beach golf course is designed with no artificial lines or angles and brings Norman's "bump and run" philosophy into play around the greens.
The Davis Love III golf course at Barefoot Resort and Golf Club is a traditional course that features spacious landing areas and greens similar to those from the 1999 U.S. Open. This golf course is a Par 72 that plays just over 7,000 yards.
Tom Fazio's golf course features water on 15 holes but many of these lakes are out-of-play and are there for visual effects only. This Par 71 course is 6,834 yards long and gives golfers a challenging layout with elevation changes, strategically placed bunkers and a classic Lowcountry backdrop.
The Pete Dye design at Barefoot Resort is a Par 72 with a 7,343-yard layout that is filled with Dye's infamous pitfalls that capture golfer's errant shots. This Myrtle Beach golf course is the only semi-private golf course at Barefoot Resort.
