This P.B. Dye designed South Myrtle Beach golf course features a 20-acre freshwater lake, dogwood-lined fairways and six sets of tees making it playable for all handicap levels.
The course layout is similar to two other Dye classic designs. The front nine reminds players of Hilton Head's Harbour Town Golf Links while the ocean winds and open layout of the back nine are remeniscent of Dye's PGA West course.

We have not heard many complaints or many raves about Prestwick.
Most golfers agree that the layout is tight but enjoyable and with six sets of tees almost any level of golfer can enjoy the course.
The staff and service received high marks but curiously only about one in every six who have played this track would include it in their top five central to south Myrtle Beach courses.
