  • Arthur Ravenel, Jr. Bridge - Walk, run or bike the new Charleston bridge. This longest cable-stay bridge in North America provides amazing views of the Lowcountry.
  • Fishing - Take a deep sea fishing trip or just rent a rod, buy some bait and enjoy a day of fishing on the Folly Beach Pier.
  • Kayaking - Take a tour of the barrier islands, blackwater swamps or Lowcountry rivers.

Visit the Vendue Inn for happy-hour drinks and views of the Charleston Harbor and enjoy an afternoon cocktail on the upper deck at the Isle of Palms location of The Boathouse restaurant where you can watch the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean.
  • Baseball - Catch a Charleston Riverdogs game at Joe Riley Park. The park, which sits on the Ashley River, is worth the price of admission.
  • Festivals - Another Charleston, South Carolina attraction is the multitude of world-class festivals. There is the Southeastern Wildlife Expo, Spoleto Festival, the Charleston Food and Wine Festival along with many others.
